Woohoo! I’m done! I’m so excited to have finished three intense weekends of Pilates certification classes. Now I need to get teaching!
I thought I might skip Pilates and just do cardio and foam rolling today due to the Pilates immersion weekend (Let me tell you–advanced Pilates exercises are no joke! Especially when you’re practicing them for 7 hours a day, two days in a row.), but I decided I wanted to test out my teaching skills. So instead, I went to class and taught a longer portion than usual with some new-to-me things to teach. It went well, but I was almost just as nervous as with the first little portion of class I ever taught. Hopefully I’ll be able to get all my teaching hours in quickly so I can be officially certified soon!
Some other exciting new is that I found out a few days ago that I’ve been selected to be a Sweat Pink Ambassador! Sweat Pink is a healthy community of people encouraging others to be fit and healthy too.
Since that’s basically the whole reason I started this blog, Sweat Pink is a great fit for me and I’m excited about being a part of it!
What motivates you to stick with your health and fitness goals?
How much do you think you’d have to do your favorite form of exercise before your body needed a break?
