This Week in Workouts: Another Sick Week

Hey all! I hope you’re enjoying your Sunday evening. We finished up this beautiful day with some creek play in Los Gatos.

It was an absolutely gorgeous day and we had spent a lot of it inside with a lazy morning and then taking care of some stuff at the house, so it was nice to end with some outdoor time this evening.

Sorry to those of you who got more snow this weekend. Having grown up in NY I know what a bummer it is to get more snow this close to Easter. I’m sure you are all done with it.

Yesterday was a pretty good day too since I got in some me time, running some errands by myself and enjoying a pedicure and the best almond milk vanilla latte from Bellano Coffee, thanks to my in laws watching the kids while Doug was at a bike race.

I was also glad to get in a good cardio workout after having some sick days (again!) this week. I feel like I frequently have an off week of workouts after having a couple of good ones and it was a bummer to lose my momentum and have to call in a sub for a couple of my Pilates classes after having two great weeks of workouts.

Here’s what the week looked like:

Monday: Strength/Flexibility – Teach Pilates
Tuesday: OFF
Wednesday: OFF
Thursday: Strength/Flexibility – Teach Pilates twice
Friday: Strength/Flexibility – Teach Pilates
Saturday: CardioTreadmill Calorie Blast + 10 min Hybrid Stationary Bike
Sunday: OFF

I had big plans to make it to BodyPump this morning since I missed lifting weights this week, but then decided to take advantage of my only day to sleep in instead. 9am wake up is glorious!

Also, I just have to post this picture that had on Instagram (follow me!) this week because it looks so much better larger. I love how fairytale/magical it looks in my in laws’ garden and I think I might buy a print for Emme’s new room.
