We’re still enjoying our long-weekend vacation in the mountains, so this post will be short and sweet. 🙂
Here’s what this week looked like as far as workouts:
Monday: Teach Pilates
Tuesday: Treadmill HIIT 20 min + steady 20 min
Wednesday: Teach Pilates
Thursday: OFF (had to pack and run errands for our trip)
Friday: OFF (paddle boarding active rest)
Saturday: OFF (hiking active rest)
Sunday: Run/Walk (running at altitude with lots of hills is not my friend)
As you can see, I’m big on active rest days on vacation. On occasion, I’ll go for a run or bring my TheraBands (affiliate link, plus check out my favorite anytime, anywhere exercise band workout) along, but most often, I prefer to fill our days with family fun and, well, nap time. 🙂 I enjoyed a blissful two hours of down time while the kids napped
today yesterday, which included nap time for me. Sometimes a nice rest is the best thing we can do for ourselves.
