With last week’s holiday and my lack of motivation continuing into the first part of this week, my workouts were kind of ‘eh’ this week too. However I am proud of myself for squeezing in some cardio after my Wednesday Pilates session and getting in a good circuit workout in the little time I had on Thursday.
Here’s what the week looked like:
Tuesday: Stationary bike 10 min HIIT + Treadmill 15 min steady
Wednesday: Take Pilates + 2 mile run
Thursday: Total Body Circuit
The YMCA where I teach was closed for renovations this past week, so I took a couple of my own classes at different Ys instead. It was fun to take classes with different teachers while picking up some tips for my own classes.
Friday was an off day simply because I was hoping a day at home with the kids might minimize the screaming that accompanies being out and about. That plan backfired, so I was more than happy to drop them off with the in laws that evening, where they spent the whole weekend. That led to a very fun Saturday day date in San Francisco with this guy.
