Good morning! I hope you’re all enjoying a lovely, lazy Saturday morning, coffee in hand of course.
I don’t normally post on Saturdays–not that there’s anything normal about my posting “schedule”–but since I slacked off writing you posts the latter part of the week due to other commitments, I thought I’d join today’s coffee date linkup hosted by Fitness Mom Wine Country, Jill Conyers and Grab Your Kicks.
So pull up a chair, grab a cup of coffee (I make mine half caff so you can enjoy more cups) and join the fun!
If we were having coffee, I’d tell you…that Emme slept in until 5:30 this morning and the previous two days, she slept in until 6! This is a HUGE improvement over 4:15, so hopefully she’s getting it now.
If we were having coffee, I’d tell you…that I’m attending a first birthday party for a very sweet baby girl today and then going to my dad’s after nap for dinner and to pick up a TV we’re borrowing since ours broke. Between the party at a park and playing in my dad’s backyard vineyard, this means lots of fun running around outside time for the kids. Also looking forward to starting up with the new season of Orange is the New Black once we have the TV hooked up!
If we were having coffee, I’d tell you…that I taught my very first one-on-one Pilates session this week that was also my very first prenatal Pilates session. More of this in my future? Perhaps…
If we were having coffee, I’d tell you…that we’re finally moving ahead with our home addition. We’ve been talking about it since we moved in nine months ago, but we’re actually working with an architect now to figure this all out. I’m definitely looking forward to bringing you posts about this process!
If we were having coffee, I’d tell you…that I’m looking forward to teaching four Pilates classes next week, but afraid someone will come to all four. I’m planning on teaching the same thing on the Mon/Tues class and then something different for Wed/Thurs, assuming people will either come Mon/Wed or Tues/Thurs. I see lots of home workouts in my future next week because that’s the only way I’ll fit in my own exercise sessions since I can’t leave the kids in childcare long enough to teach and workout for myself. Hopefully I’ll stay committed and make that work!
If we were having coffee, I’d tell you…that I’m not sure if it’s oil pulling (yes, I’ve continued even though it’s nasty), avoiding most dairy or my new face wash, but I have seen some improvement with my skin. Fingers crossed it just continues to get better.
If we were having coffee, I’d tell you…that I’d rather be back in France like Ellie and G are right now, enjoying coffee with them on their balcony overlooking the sea.
What would you share if we were having coffee?
